LEAD AT KIPP COLORADO:

Teacher Leaders

As a Teacher Leader, teacher leaders demonstrating strong pedagogical and leadership skills are able to work towards becoming Grade Level Chairs, Department Chairs, Assistant Principals, or Mentor Teachers.

Successor Leaders

KIPP Colorado teachers with proven results in and outside of the classroom can be trained for a principal position if and when a current principal moves out of school leadership.

Fellowships for Founders

For experienced teachers with a proven record of results and leadership, there is the opportunity to become a founding principal (School Leader) of a new school in the KIPP Colorado Schools network.  The Miles Fellowship is a two-year pathway where strong teachers hone their leadership skills through leading significant academic initiatives.  Fisher fellows spend a year in training while developing a School Design Plan in preparation for opening a new school.
